Advanced Velocity Scales
Do you need to get really good and fast at three octave scales for you upcoming auditions? This is a brief instruction page for twelve patterns of advanced scale study. It assumes that you already have examples and fingerings of whatever scales you need to learn, and can play them slowly. The purpose of the velocity study is to learn to play scales in a variety of accelerating rhythms to play quickly.

Suzuki Cello School Review Chart
The pdf file included here is a guide for reviewing all of the pieces and some of the tonalizations for Suzuki Cello method books 1 through 10. There are two pages, one for five days of review, the second has seven days of review. This can be helpful no matter where you are in your journey through the Suzuki repertoire. If you only know pieces from book one, then you may only have a couple of pieces to review each day. The value of the review chart is it gives variety to what otherwise might be a tedious task assigned to many young cellists practice schedules.
